Almost There

It's been longer than it should have been between posts here and that's because it's been a really busy fall. We've been busy here working on transforming this lovely basement ( admittedly this is already halfway through the renovation but I forgot to take a completely before picture so

into this not quite finished but you get the idea finished basement.

Leslie will likely not be pleased I'm showing off a messy basement but Im stoked. It's been a long long process getting the basement to here and I think it's great. What you don't see because it's off to the right of the camera is the treadmill we got for free last year during a community give away/recycle day. The display unit on it is actually broken but the power works and the treadmill runs fine so I'm going to be looking for a cadence sensor to pair with my garmin (first thoughts on what brand anyway).

What you also don't

see here because its still at the post office is the Cycleops Powerbeam Pro bike trainer we bought a week or two ago that has finally arrived from Colorado! I really can't wait to try it out, there's a couple of parts I need to order still to make it functional (a replacement skewer and an IPad ANT key for example) but I'm really excited to work out indoors out of the

cold Ottawa wind and put down some miles on their Virtual Trainer! So, there you have it. It's been crazy here, oh we also added a third dog to our zoo just because it wasn't crazy enough for us.
